Rs 10 cr Rafiabad Tribal Cluster Model Village gets nod : Yawar Mir | KNO

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 21 (KNO) : MLA Rafiabad, YawarDilawar Mir has said that the Government has sanctioned Tribal Cluster Model Village for Kandi Rafiabad in district Baramulla. Talking to various deputations from Rafiabad Constituency, who called on him today to seek redressal of their grievances, Yawar Mir said that a whooping sum of Rs. 10 crore has been earmarked by the Government for development of the Tribal cluster model village in Kandi Rafiabad. He said a comprehensive Draft Project Report (DPR) was prepared with his consultation last year which got final approval from the Tribal Affairs, Finance and Planning and Monitoring departments for execution. He said development of this cluster model village will go a long way to bring tangible socio-economic transformation of the poor tribal population of Rafiabad Constituency besides providing them better basic civic amenities. Yawar has asked the concerned executing agencies to gear up men and machinery to complete all the components of the Project as envisaged in the cluster model village scheme within stipulated time frame so that its benefits accrue to the deserving and needy. Yawar asked the deputationists to monitor and supervise implementation of this ambitious project to ensure judicious use of public money adding that he will himself oversee progress of the project on monthly basis. He asked the executing agencies to ensure use of standard and quality material in these works. He also expressed gratitude to Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti and Tribal Affairs Minister, Ch. Zulfkar for according approval to the DPR for Tribal Cluster Model Village for Kandi Rafiabad.(KNO)
